Welcome to Signhills Junior School.  We thank you for entrusting your child’s education to us.  Our aim is to provide the children going through our school with the skills, knowledge and attitudes to give each the base on which to build a successful future.  The school is committed to trying to provide a friendly, caring atmosphere where all children feel secure and happy.  Pride in each child’s academic sporting and artistic achievements are positively encouraged throughout the school.

The philosophy of the school is that most children are keen to work hard and be courteous towards others.  With this in mind the staff positively look for children doing these things and offer praise and rewards to those that are.  We also like to think of ourselves as a caring and listening school so please come into school to discuss any concerns you may have.  Usually, talking and sharing concerns leads to an obvious solution.
